A Little Rainbow of Love

I am trying out party favors for an upcoming party,
and my DD called my attention to these very
cute little cakes in a jar.

We have done a couple of trial runs and
I think we have it down now.
These are super fun - a little bit
of rainbow - just right to take along!

How very cute are these things?!
Pastel colored vanilla cake, in a mason jar!
Then they are topped with creamy vanilla icing
and sprinkles - right inside the jar!
YUMMY!

Because I simply cannot give out plain ol' mason jars,
I had to gussy mine up a bit. I have used some
Bo Bunny papers, which I have sewn and inked.
I added some MME ribbon, Prima Flowers and
bling and crocheted flowers made by a sweet, generous friend of mine.

I hope everyone loves them.
And I hope they give my jars back!

Thanks for stopping by :) I would love to hear your thoughts on these.

My Sunshine

Today I have my LO for ColourQ  - Love the colors this week. Soft pastels are by far my faves!

I am so in love with Echo Park's new papers!
Where have they been all my life ?!

All papers and cardstock stickers on this LO are from Echo Park - the
Playground line I believe. I have also used Prima, Websters Pages,
Maya Road, Basic Grey and those polka dot
brads - I can't remember who made those!

I swear that the background paper is a pale pink - but no matter how
many photos I took I could not make it come
out looking that way in the photos! It is not lilac I swear :0)

How wonderful are these colors! My faves.

Please stop by ColourQ  and see the wonderful things the DT
has created this week and then join us in the fun!

I haven't been blogging much the last couple of weeks, I know.
It is spring gardening season and my flower beds and roses need some love.
I will be back to posting normally soon.

Graduation Album

Well, it has been a while since I last posted! It has been a wild and hectic week.

I have managed to finish one little project -  a very cute little album for my DD's high school graduation.

I have used some wonderful Basic Grey papers and embellies. Beautiful Prima flowers and a bunch of ribbons and trims from my stash.
There are lots of pics, so please keep going!

Aren't those canvas Prima flowers to die for?!?!
 Thanks for stopping by :0)
I hope you have a great weekend planned.

Scrapbook & Cards Today

Today I have a LO I will be submitting over
at Scrapbook & Cards Today Blog for a challenge.

They have wonderful sketches over there from Pagemaps which I love.

Today's LO is a pic of my DD in the Texas Wildflowers. We love our
wildflowers here in Texas, and every year at this time, we all flock
to the roadside to take pics of our kids in the blue bonnets. This one year,
I headed for the indian paintbrushes instead.

I have used Bazzill, Basic Grey, Anna Griffin, Prima, Tattered Angels, Making Memories, My Minds Eye, American Crafts, ribbon & brads from my stash and VersaMagic and StazOn inks.

Here is the sketch I have used,,,
Thanks for stopping by today. We are in the middle of typical spring weather
for Dallas - 90 yesterday, 35 tonight!

A Wintery Spring Break

My DD and her friends went to the Grand Canyon for Spring Break.
They were expecting sunshine and warm days. What they got however,
was 12 inches of snow the day they arrived!

What an experience for them!

I have used Core'dinations, Bazzill, Making Memories, Dusty Attic, Basic Grey, Martha Stewart,
EK Success, Fiskars and some other embellies from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week!

A Little Chocolate Love :0)

Oh, the carefree days of college life.
How sweet are they?

These two were having a fun time making
a little batch of Chocolate Love!

For my LO today I have used a sketch from The Scrappiest This is the
first time I have played along at their blog, but I am loving
the sketches I have seen so far!

I am so lovin' this new paper by Echo Park. I have also used Bazzill Two Scoops embossed cardstock, Prima Flowers, Creative Imaginations, We R Memory Keepers, Maya Road, buttons and brads from my stash and my EK Success punch.

The accent on the photo is made from matboard, which I have stamped and inked.
